Packaging & shipping specifications
How vehicles are protected, loaded and documented for the voyage. Exact loading plans depend on model dimensions and are confirmed on your quotation.
Container — 40ft High Cube
Typically 2 SUVs or 3 sedans depending on dimensions. Fully enclosed, best protection for new and high-value vehicles.
Container — 20ft General
One vehicle per container. Suited to single units and mixed consignments with spare parts loaded alongside.
Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo)
Vehicles driven aboard a dedicated car carrier. The most economical option for larger volumes on serviced routes.
How vehicles are prepared
- Body wrapped in protective film; mirrors folded and loose trim secured
- Wheels chocked and the vehicle lashed to container D-rings with rated straps
- Fuel drained to the level required by the carrier; battery terminals secured
- Electric vehicles shipped at 30–50% state of charge with UN38.3 documentation
- Keys, manuals and removed parts boxed, inventoried and sealed inside the vehicle
- Loading photographed at every stage and sent to you before the doors are sealed
